Your Kitchenshop

Your Kitchenshop was established in 1979 at Park Beach Plaza, Coffs Harbour NSW. Originally named Lady Kitcheners, the name was changed to Your Kitchenshop in 2002 by the current owner Graeme Thompson and his wife Fiona. Their philosophy was simply to become the largest and best regional kitchenware store carrying the most diversified range of stock in regional Australia.

Fiona's dream was to build a business capable of winning the coveted Global Innovator Award. The Global Innovator Award is the highest accolade available to the Gift and Homewares Trade. To be considered for the Global Innovator Award, you must be judged on every aspect of your business including depth of product range, staff product knowledge, customer service and visual merchandising to name a few. Sadly, Fiona passed away the year before seeing that dream realised when in 2005, Your Kitchenshop was named winner of the ‘GIA Best Homewares Store - Australia’. Our prize was to represent Australia in Chicago against 26 other countries. In Chicago we were honoured to be one of 5 Global category winners, winning ‘Best in the World - Single Store’ category. The hard work had paid off and we are now thrilled to be able to share our expertise with you.

Graeme and now wife Kathryn, have continued to grow the business serving the people of Coffs Harbour and surrounds by opening a second, and considerably larger store. We are now excited to be able to welcome you to our on-line store. We have maintained the hugely diversified stock range, so if you can’t see it on our web site, please contact us. If it’s used in a kitchen, odds are we will either have it or be able to get it.

As authorised Wilton Instructors, we also offer a range of Cake Decorating courses using the Wilton Method. We also carry an extensive range of Cake Decorating items including moulds, wires, colours, fondants, cutters, veiners and of course, the Wilton products.
